Featuring scenes depicting the way in which the local people and soldiers battled to defend the city, inside houses, in the street and from the city walls, as well as their eventual victory. The film focuses on the figures of Agustina of Aragon, the Countess of Bureta and Tío Jorge. Based around three epic scenes, this early film, of great narrative and visual simplicity, exemplifies Chomón's move into the genre of historical documentaries.
